Here it is...

I did this project for a friend. These are her parents. She wanted a picture of her dad on a tractor so I did that as part of an assignment for Bill. Then she gave me a picture of her mother (who is deceased) and wanted me to put her in the picture like she was looking down from heaven. I scanned in the picure she gave me and using the elliptical marquee tool I cut her out and put her on the tractor picture. I used the brush tool and the clone tool to blend her into the clouds. Even though some of my classmates laughed and thought this was cheesy, my friend and her family are very pleased with this.

All the Tiffanys

Here's my long term assignment. Tiffany was great and we did about four sessions just to get these three pictures. I learned that things work out much better when I have a plan. I was having trouble posing Tiffany and with some tips from Kevin I drew out some poses before we did our final session. I had the lights ready when she got there and with the poses, we were done in about 15 minutes. I definitely learned my lesson.

Mom

Here's my mom. I used her for the my choice portrait for Kevin. I used my Canon EOS Rebel XT and Canon 550 flash with soft box as well as one Alien Bee with softbox.

Crack of Dawn

I shot this when I was out looking for people at the crack of dawn for an assignment for Bill this summer. I eventually did find some people, but this was definitely the better shot. Canon Rebel XT and no flash. I leaned on my car since I didn't have a tripod.

Hurrell(?) Practice

Just some practice before I do my Hurrell photo shoot. I hope I get better results from my model. Shot with my Canon Rebel XT and 550 flash with cord.

Jackie Composite

This assignment was really fun. First I shot the two locations. Then I shot Jackie in a white studio on a stool. I 'cut her out' then put her on the two locations. After some refinements on her edges it looked like this. This was a cool assignment.
